The Saris and Things women's petticoat is a cotton blend that is strong, sturdy and easy to wash. It is not shiny satin but a soft cotton fabric with a drawstring waistband. The product is available in a great selection of colors to match any saree. Customers using this product suggest that it is great to wear with a saree and is true to size. However, it was noted that since it is one size fits all, the waistband can seem a little large and may require tying it tight to ensure it stays in place, especially when all the folds of the saree are tucked into the front.
