Liquitex Palette Knives Editorial Review
The Liquitex traditional painting knife is a sturdy and flexible palette knife suitable for use with oil paints. The blade is 8 inches long, with some flexibility that makes it adaptable to different surfaces. It is not full tang and pinned in the handle. The knife is suitable for both right and left-handed use, and the underside is very smooth. However, some customers reported that the handle's paint peels off easily, while others stated that the tip was broken when it arrived. The blade is slightly thick and rigid and is too narrow to frost cakes effectively. The knife is also useful in other situations that involve mixing colors, cutting off caulking or even cutting cheese. Overall, it is excellent for painting with oils and other art applications.
