You have continuity from any given of the four 'posts' on one edge to their relative position on the INSIDE row of four posts - depending on which way the switch's toggle is oriented. -

The uxcell AC 15A250V 10A380V Screw Terminals OnOffOn 4PDT Toggle Switch is a heavy-duty switch for a special purpose. It has four poles and is designed to be used in situations where you need to switch between two different circuits. The switch is well-made and comes with excellent customer service. Some customers recommend soldering the wires instead of using crimp rings. One user built a speaker switcher control using this switch and found it to work flawlessly. However, some customers found the switch difficult to toggle due to the heavy detent and its size. Another user complained that two of the four poles were defective, which is a quality control issue.
