Soak -Then place your sea moss in a bowl and completely cover the moss with filtered, spring or alkaline water then allow to soak in refrigerator for 8-24 hours. Can add water as the moss swells to keep it covered with water. 3. Blend – Add sea moss to blender and desired amount of water (for desired consistency). Equal amount sea moss and water will yield a more liquid consistency. 1/3 amount of water will yield a firmer gel once refrigerated for 4 hours. Blend for 30-60 seconds until it converts to smooth gel texture. 4. Store - Now transfer blended sea moss to air tight containers (glass recommended). It will become gelatin when chilled in fridge. Sea moss gel will last 3 weeks when stored in refrigerator. Can transfer gel to freezer safe containers for long term storage (jars not recommended.
