The Olson Coffee Brewer by Simply Good Coffee is a decent coffee maker that produces a full-bodied cup of coffee with almost no bitterness. The brewing process is quick, producing a full pot of coffee in about 8 minutes, and has a drip stop for those who can't wait for it to finish brewing. The machine is programmable but does not have an audible beep when brewing is done, although it does automatically shut off. The coffee maker also has a heating element made of aluminum and is free of BPS, BPF, and phthalates. However, this product has some drawbacks, such as the thin plastic material used in the machine, the fragile glass carafe, a warming plate that buzzes during brewing, and a carafe design that makes it easy to misjudge when pouring and spill coffee onto the counter. Also, the warming plate is weak, so the coffee gets cold in about half an hour. Thus, for the price, some customers expected a more durable product with more features.
