The ratcheting of this needle driver remains intact even after doing about 200 threads on a suture pad. The gold grips are very comfortable compared to bare stainless steel grips, and the tool works just like regular needle drivers. However, there are some issues with lateral movement at the articulation point, which may be a concern for some users.
