The BEAMNOVA Leather Cobbler Sewing Machine is a heavy duty industrial hand tool for repairing shoes and leather crafts. Customers have experienced difficulties when setting up the machine, but some have found that polishing the surfaces and building a stronger base can improve the performance. Clear instructions are missing but there are many YouTube videos to navigate the process. It is advised that customers use rubbing alcohol and 3 in 1 oil on the machine before use. The most significant drawback is that the machine requires a lot of work to get running right, but once adjusted it sews well. It comes with a walking foot and the pressure foot can be moved using an omni-directional wrench. The machine can only stitch forward and not backwards. The largest thickness of leather it can sew is determined by the size of the needle and is up to 0.8 cm, and it can use a maximum of 207 thread. The machine has received a mixture of feedback ranging from it being an ok product for the price, to it being a great sewing machine for around $100.
