The thumb rest is an accessory that helps reduce fatigue and thumb pain for musicians playing woodwind instruments. With different opinions expressed from the reviews, it is difficult to ascertain completely the overall performance of the product. Majority of the reviews revealed that the thumb rest is comfortable, soft and indeed helps reduce hand and thumb pain on a long practice session.
