Brita GmbH, a German company that specializes in water filters, manufactures the product with production facilities in Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Italy, and China. The filters work great and improve the taste of water noticeably. It is suitable for use with large rectangular Brita filter pitchers. However, it is unclear what the difference is between Advanced filters and regular old filters as the Advanced filters are not on Brita's website. But the website shows a comparison between Standard and Longlast filters. Unfortunately, these filters are not recyclable, but they do remove a lot of impurities. Overall, this product does what it is designed to do. It produces excellent-tasting and clean water efficiently.
