Does this thread have stretchiness? I need to hem some tshirts because they are too long. Regular thread has no give at all and makes the hem weird!
Cevap: I would say this isn't any stretchier than other threads. If you are trying to hem t-shirts, you may want to invest in some needles specifically for knits. They may also say stretch or jersey on the package. There are a number of sites that give info on needle sizes and their use. You would be amazed at what a difference a needle makes. As one who always has to hem t-shirts, I know where you're coming from. I use a stretch twin needle to hem mine to fake the double line on the shirts. -

Cevap: While on the spool, it has a shiny look but is meant to be invisible in your projects. -

Cevap: I used it to do blanket stitch around appliqued designs that were all various colors. You will need to also get the 'stocking' that keeps the thread on the spool or you might run into trouble. -

Cevap: I love, love, love this thread. It is NOT Nylon and so far I haven't melted any seam, but I would turn down the heat on your iron. -

Has anyone used this thread for jewelry? How well does it work? I have 2 mm seed beads.
Cevap: I don't if this would work for beading. I used it for sewing on fabric. I found that too great a length of thread did for me cause tangling. -

Can this be ironed without melting happening?
Cevap: I tested it with a medium hot iron and it did not melt. The iron was hot enough to remove wrinkles from cotton. -

I really only need about 12 inches but how much weight would it hold? I want to hang something the weight of a matchbox car or maybe twice that.
Cevap: I'm not sure how much weight this thread could hold; it's very thin. Maybe a matchbox car. Have you thought of using fishing line? -

Can this thread be used to repair a wedding veil?
Cevap: I think it can. Remember it may be scratchy and maybe not as flexible as regular cotton thread. So I recommend trying it out on a piece of similar fabric as the veil. Also, it is hard for a sewing machine to recognize that this is thread, so I use a black marker to color the end of the thread that will be used to thread the machine. --this is applicable for self threading machines.
