The Staedtler lead holder is a reliable and sturdy pencil for drafting, illustrating and other non-writing uses. It comes with a 2H lead and a built-in lead pointer cap, but a rotary pointer may be preferable. Different leads and erasers can be bought separately. It is made of durable plastic and metal, and is 2mm wide. Some customers have experienced the lead falling out, but this is normal for a lead holder and can be adjusted manually. It is engraves with lead hardness indications. Reviews are generally positive, with most customers praising its durability and reliability.
