The threading on the device is thin so caution is needed to prevent cross threading. The device is made of good quality steel and the machining is quite good. It works well and is easy to use. Some customers reported needing to lubricate before first use. A few customers had issues with the tool breaking, particularly with removing the Race Face Aeffect cranks, and recommended purchasing a higher quality tool instead.
