The Yellow Mountain Imports Chinese Traditional Mahjong Playing Cards is a wonderful set containing 144 strong cards that recreate the original set of the ancient Chinese game of Mah Jong. It is a great way of carrying the game with you on your travels as it is less bulky and lighter than the traditional tile set. However, the cards themselves are difficult to handle, and some cards stick together when drawing off the pile which is not ideal. Also, shuffling the entire set together is impossible, and players have to divide the pile into smaller piles to shuffle separately. Additionally, the review section exhibited some misprints, dirty-looking cards, and issues with missing cards making it hard for players to fully enjoy the game without having to improvise. The gameplay itself remains the same as the original tile set, except players will have to find a way of stacking the cards conveniently as agreed upon and desired.
