The hydrophobic sand is a product designed to entertain kids with sand that becomes hydrophobic after being coated in a waterproofing material. Others have said the product doesn't last long as it loses its ability to dry and leaves a slimy residue in the water. Some have praised the product, saying it provided hours of entertainment, even for adults. However, clean-up seems to be a problem, as some reviewers have tried several filters to separate water from sand.
