The Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE is an exceptionally well-made case that has great access both front and back, with a tinted glass side panel. The tempered glass doors have magnetic fastenings that some users criticize and can pop open spontaneously. The dust filters are easy to remove and clean, but clearances are tight at the front for radiators with fans. It comes with a Corsair commander to control its RGB lighting, but it is complicated to use and connect. The case is best reserved for more accomplished and experienced builders. Despite being heavy and expensive, it's definitely worth the price. Users generally agree that the Corsair Obsidian 500D RGB SE is an outstanding case with ample room even for more ambitious builds. The fans and radiator trays are well-thought-out, though the case can be quite heavy with all components installed. Corsair's commander software is mediocre, and documentation is not user-friendly. The minor issues regarding pre-mounted radiator sockets can be resolved easily.
