It comes with a 72-inch lead and works well with any standard AM/FM radio antenna connection. The Allen Wrench set screw holds the antenna at a 90-degree angle, allowing it to be mounted sideways. However, it needs a bracket or a 1/2 inch diameter hole for mounting. The reception is good but not great, with some FM stations getting lost in the city. Meanwhile, the metal cabinet may cause trouble with the reception. The mast is removable and direction can be adjusted.
