Product Details
- If you're looking to enhance your audio recording and playback capabilities with a reliable and high-quality solution, the 32-Channel ADAT Expansion Module is an essential addition to your Midas or Behringer digital console. Designed and engineered in England by the reputable Klark Teknik, this durable module offers up to 32 channels of simultaneous recording and playback at 48kHz, making it an ideal choice for both studio and live recording environments. The expansion module features four input and four output TOSLINK optical fibre connectors, ensuring pristine audio quality free from ground loop interference. The BNC word clock input or output allows for precise external clock synchronization, ensuring your recordings are crystal clear and perfectly timed.Versatility is at the heart of this module, with optical fibre connections that provide a robust and user-friendly interface for ADAT-equipped HD recorders. The module's design focuses on seamless integration and flexible interoperability, making it a versatile choice for audio professionals seeking to expand their setup. For those who require networked audio, the DN32-DANTE expansion card within the module offers up to 32 channels of bidirectional, networked audio, facilitating seamless integration with Dante enabled IP networks. Dante technology is known for its uncompressed, multichannel digital media networking capabilities, featuring low latency and synchronization over existing IP network infrastructures. The DN32-DANTE card is equipped with two Gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing for the merging of Ethernet remote control data with multichannel audio streams on the same cable. With primary and secondary interfaces, the module ensures continuous connectivity, automatically switching to the secondary connection in the event of a primary connection failure.Clock synchronization and routing are made simple with the DN32-DANTE card's high-precision word clock, which can either serve as the clock master or be synchronized with the console's master word clock. Dante's support for Unicast and Multicast flows, along with per-channel signal routing, provides comprehensive control over your audio network.Additionally, the Dante Virtual Soundcard application for PC and Mac extends the module's functionality, allowing for remote recording or playback over standard IP infrastructure. Compatibility with Windows WDM, ASIO, and Mac OS X Core Audio ensures low-latency signal handling by your computer, making live recordings of up to 64 channels possible.Klark Teknik's commitment to quality is evident in their state-of-the-art production processes and rigorous quality assurance, resulting in one of the industry's lowest product failure rates. This 32-Channel ADAT Expansion Module is not only a testament to Klark Teknik's engineering excellence but also to their dedication to providing customers with reliable, high-quality audio equipment for any professional setting.
