Its design features a single open propeller that churns and propels water droplets into the air to optimize oxygen transfer. The aerator's powerful agitation and the momentum it causes are key to dispersing oxygenated water throughout an entire pond or tank. Notably, this 2400AF Pond Surface Aerator can function effectively in as little as 15 inches of water. Consequently, this makes it an ideal choice for tanks or ponds of up to half an acre of surface area. This 1/2HP 120V Pond Surface Aerator is a single-phase, 60Hz unit. What's more, every purchase of the Kasco 2400AF comes with a complimentary float and three 50-foot mooring lines to secure your aerator. As an additional option, customers can acquire bottom screens for added functionality.
