Answer: I used the included screws and they worked fine. -

Hoping to use these as my chicken feed and water holders, would it hold up for that?
Answer: Kind of a difficult question to answer depends on how big your buckets are and how heavy they are with the water and the feed. I use mine for 8 in flower pots they're filled with regular dirt they hold up just fine I don't know if that helps you or not. -

How much weight can they hold?
Answer: I have only hung plants and lanterns on them. -

Will this hold heavy plants?
Answer: Depends on where you put them. I have mine on my pool deck with two screws in each holder. They did fine with my ferns and flowers. Some of my plants were full of water and heavy but the holders never broke. I hope this helps. -
Question:
What is the distance between the screw holes?
Answer: About 7 1/2 inches from bottom of top hole to top of bottom hole. Bought these few years ago so there maybe a little difference.
