How long does the humidifier keep cigars fresh?
Answer: It keeps cigars fresh for up to a year. -

What do I need to refill the tube?
Answer: You can refill the tube with either distilled or tap water. -

Are these designed to turn to a liquid and destroy your cigars?
Answer: You put too much water in it and ruined your cigars yourself. I had it for 2 years and zero issues. -

Are you supposed to take the lid off of the tube?
Answer: To activate the Humidifier tube, remove the Silicone Cap. When not in use, keep silicone cap on to keep shelf life. -
Question:
Can I get the safety data sheet for this product?
Answer: Maybe if you contact the seller. -

Can these be cut to fit a smaller humidor?
Answer: I guess... Take the top off, cut it evenly and take out some of the crystals and then guess what the new fill line should be. -
Question:
The tube is full of runny gel, not crystals, is this normal?
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Just add water to the line on tubes. Distilled water is good for about 2 months before you add more water. -
Question:
How to get humidity to 70%?
Answer: I drilled a lot more small holes on the tube, so it could do what it's supposed to do. It needs to have much more holes, so the inside jelly thing could evaporate. After that, the humidity went up to 65%. Before it used to be like 50%. -
Question:
Should I take the plastic wrappers off of my cigars prior to using this product in the humidor?
Answer: That is not necessary. The wrapping does allow for moisture/humidity to pass through. You may find that the interior of your humidor stays cleaner when leaving the cigars in their wraps. -
Question:
Do you use one for a Cabinet Humidor?
Answer: I used these tubes a long time ago for my Cigar Box. They were not that effective in maintaining humidity in the box. I do not think they are suitable for a Cabinet Humidor. Last year, I used the following Cigar Humidor Solution and since, I have a constant 75-80% humidity in the box for a long time without refilling the humidifier. Question:
Am I supposed to only use this and take the hockey puck humidifier out?
Answer: You can still use the hockey puck as well. But, I don't. I only use the tube. -
Question:
How long do they last if you don't refill them?
Answer: I've only had them in a humidor for a month. There should be no reason to not fill, since they just refill with water.
