Advecta II Flea Treatment also kills fleas within 12 hours of application and prevents further flea infestations for a month by killing adult fleas before they lay eggs, and remains effective following swimming or shampooing. Advecta II Flea Treatment for Large Cats contains the same active ingredients (Imidacloprid & Pyriproxyfen) used in Bayer Advantage II for cats.
