- The 2009 U.S. Mint Proof Set contains eighteen clad proof coins, including the four special Lincoln Bicentennial Cents (Birthplace, Formative Years, Professional Life, and Presidency), the Jefferson Nickel, Roosevelt Dime, Kennedy Half Dollar, Native American Dollar, and the six D.C. & U.S. Territories Quarters: District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands. The 2009 Lincoln Cents were struck using the original 1909-style copper alloy, which is known to tone or discolor naturally. All coins feature sharp frosted details and deep mirrored fields. Coins arrive in Original Government Packaging (OGP) with the official COA. Due to the age of these sets, packaging may show wear consistent with its age.
